The collection gathers and preserves information about the okhotsk area. The collection has about 2,300 titles including books, brochures, and images on this area, mainly its history, statistics, official publications by local municipalities, and also books by local authors. Books on regional studies (for the general reader) are also available. This is a circulating collection of local information, rather than an archive of original documents.  Most books are available for borrowing. Titles are available in  the catalogue.
